Group game – up to 30
Materials: none
Everyone stands in a circle and the game moves around (pick one person to start off) through different actions:
- Yeeha (pumping left or right fist depending on direction of flow): moves to the next player in the direction indicated
- Ho Down (hands above head in a ‘house’ motion): Reverses the flow
- Pitchfork (three fingers up directed towards person it’s going to): gives to somebody else across the circle
- Nay (arms form an X in front of the person): Can be done when pitchforked sends it back to the player who pitchforked you. The original pitchforker can’t pitchfork the same person straight away.
- Lasso (arm action pretending to lasso a particular opposite player): Trade places (dancing sillily as you trade places) with someone across the circle from you, the person who is lassoed then starts.
If a player moves the wrong arm or says the wrong word, they are out, if they speak out of turn they are out. When down to 2 players they go back to back and take a step when the leader says a word and when the leader says PICKLES they turn around and say Yeeha first person to say it wins.
