Knights, Mounts, Cavaliers

armourGroup Game

Materials: music (something to play it on and some funky tunes)

This is an oldie, but still a goodie.  Get everyone to find a partner, music is played and when it stops, the leader will call out either ‘knights’, ‘mounts’ or ‘cavaliers’ at which time the pair must be quick to get into position of: knights – one person goes down on one knee, the other sits on the knee that’s up. Mounts – one person pretends to be the horse, down on all fours, the other sits on their back. Cavaliers – one person lifts up the other person in a cary position in front of them.  The last pair to take the position is out, this goes on until only one pair remains.
