The issues of depression and suicide are massive in our culture. Many young people would admit to going through rough patches and even considering suicide, so it’s an issue that must be confronted. These small group studies look at these areas and seek to give young people a framework to see mental illness through, together with the reinforcement that there are people like youth leaders around who care for them and are open to talk with them.
